Teenage pregnancy by girls aged 19 years or younger are a world-wide occurrence and it does not seem like it is slowing down one bit. Studies have proven that more than 10% of all births world-wide occur to teenage mothers. Teenage pregnancies are seen more as a social problem due to the impact of the social and economic environments these children are raised in.

By explaining how important abstinence is and the risks and consequences associated with it, then maybe there is a chance in preventing this happening to these children.
